It's blue skies filled with birdsong here. The peeping sound of the Buzzards high overhead and the calls of the Green and Spotted Woodpeckers are obvious over the other tweets.  The daffodils are beginning to fade but the walled garden is bursting into life. Grey Wagtails are darting about, busy building their nests upstairs in the Mill.  The Moorhens are enjoying a good feast on the Bird feeders, which they hang from rather precariously and a pair of White Egrets and a Cormorant are both visiting.  Spring has certainly arrived!

As the light fades in the evening the calls of the owls can be heard from all directions and most evenings at least one can be seen flying through.

Whatever the weather this is a great place to chat, relax and unwind.   The beds are very comfortable and the setting is stunning!

If you a fancy a visit our Next Availability is the Week/weekend commencing Friday 9th May 2014 £1200/week & £960/weekend
